The Carbon Footprint Certificate is an important milestone in ULMA's sustainability strategy

Oct 30, 2024
The calculation of the carbon footprint, together with the study and application of specific actions aimed at reducing the sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions resulting from its activity, are part of the measures included in ULMA's sustainability strategy aimed at minimising its environmental impact.

The efforts made in recent years in this area have been recognised by the Organisational Carbon Footprint Certificate with Scopes 1+2+3 awarded by AENOR on 23 October, in accordance with the requirements established in the ISO 14064-1:2018 standard.

This certification is evidence of the verification of the greenhouse gas inventory at all operating centres in Spain, and covers the categories of Scopes 1+2+3 for the years 2022 and 2023.

This is a significant milestone that goes hand in hand with other measures implemented at ULMA to drive our energy transition to sustainable sources to meet our commitment to move towards climate neutrality by 2050.
