Efficient cycle with ORMA formwork in Aldergrove Town Center

Aldergrove Town Center located in Langley, British Columbia, has 194 homes. This urban oasis surrounded by the greenery of the Fraser Valley offers easy access to public transport, and a variety of amenities within walking distance.

ULMA has collaborated in this project with the supply of ORMA, KSP and BMK brackets for the car park building.

ORMA formwork has been the key element of the project with its use in the main walls of two independent shafts.

By offering a wide range of panels, it has optimised the concrete placement cycle into 3.2 m single-height pours. In addition, combined with the MAX stripping corner panel, it has been possible to raise the inside of the shafts in one go. ORMA's exceptional quality guarantees a concrete finish that reduces the need for manpower and working time. ORMA not only improves on-site efficiency, but also raises construction quality standards.

BMK brackets were used as a climbing system, which reduced the use of cranes by 50%. They were equipped with working platforms to ensure safety throughout the entire process.
