Description
This viaduct is the main infrastructure of the Espina A-63 motorway in Asturias. Its 900 m length and 160 m spans between piers makes it the bridge with most successive cantilevers of Spain.
ULMA solution
The piers of up to 70 m high were built in tiers with CR-250 Climbing Brackets and ENKOFORM V-100 vertical formwork.
The pier head or pier segment was built with ENKOFORM HMK formwork on G Heavy Duty Brackets. Some 9 m high side walls were poured in two stages.
