On behalf of the Company and myself we offer sincere thanks to our employees, customers and vendors for enabling ULMA Form Works, Inc. to celebrate this important milestone. At the start in 1998 we were just a company from the Basque Country in Spain with zero experience in the United States marketplace, but with proper focus, help from our team of Americans, Spain Headquarters support, and perseverance we were able to build a successful business.
The growth of the company mirrors the growth of many of our personal journeys, which included listening to our customers and working with our headquarters to persevere in bringing the best practical solutions to our new customers. In our first decade we were the first company in the United States to introduce the European clamp gang form system in Imperial measurements offering a 1650psf with our MEGAFORM system, followed then shortly by the handset MEGALITE system. We marketed several of the ULMA systems from Europe including our climbing systems and BIRA, our steel circular forming system. Our market area was primarily in the Northeast and the mid-Atlantic territories of the United States.
In ULMA Form Works’ second decade our new focus was on serving a larger customer base in a larger geographical area. We introduced American-styled shoring systems. Our FORMADECK and MEGAFRAME systems were designed to promote safety and increase productivity. As a result of targeting larger companies, we began following them in a greater geographic area which also led to rapid growth for the Company.
In 2016 we acquired Socon, headquartered in Dacula, Georgia outside of Atlanta. This gave us a customer base to grow in the Southeastern United States. In 2021 we opened a new yard in Belle Glade, Florida to serve the central and south Florida markets which are one of the largest concrete forming markets in the United States. During this nine- year period we saw our annual revenue triple in volume.
Having reached this important milestone, on behalf of ULMA Form Works, I would like to express our sincere gratitude and best wishes to our hard-working and warm-hearted employees and to our customers for making us a partner in the forming and shoring industry. My staff and I will continue to devote our time to working with our employees and customers to deliver products and services to promote safer and more productive jobsites. We will also continue investing in innovative and high-quality products and services, including digital solutions, and people, processes, and new facilities as part of our growth plans.
I look forward to our next decades of service to the concrete forming and shoring industry and thank you again for your support.
