The HWS perimeter safety screen is a self-climbing system for ensuring perimeter safety during the construction of high-rise buildings.
HWS covers the perimeter of the level under construction as well as the two levels below. As the building rises, the HWS is lifted by crane or by a hydraulic power unit. The HWS is adaptable to different geometries and configurations depending on project requirements: straight section, with working platforms, debris section, with the option to lift materials to different levels, with access stairs, etc.
The HWS is a self-climbing system with a multitude of applications that provides maximum safety and high performance for high-rise building construction.
The HWS (Hydraulic Windshield System) is another solution based on the MK system (standard walers with simple connecting elements), which focuses on Safety Protection for Highrise Construction.
- Designed to protect workers against harsh weather and prevent them and objects, falling from the edge of the slab and also to protect pedestrians from falling debris.
- Based on the MK system, it is versatile, and it can be easily adapted to different geometries
- Range of panels:
- Telescopic perforated steel panels.
- HWS Panels (opaque or semi-transparent, stiff or elastic, etc.).
- Corner Panels.
- Reduces the visual height effect.
- Adjustable cross-section: working platform levels, dimensions, material unloading platforms.
- Excellent protection against inclement weather.
- Protects against workers experiencing fear of heights.
- Allows for the use of exterior material lifting platforms.
- Provide a working platform over the slab Edge.
- The system can be a hydraulic self-climbing, or crane lifted operation.
- It can be anchored to slab or wall.
- Completely encloses the entire perimeter.
- Accessories shared with other MK solutions.
