Description
This project is centered on a building designed to hold a shopping mall and supermarket owned by "El Corte Ingles". It has 4 floors that are under ground and in the form of a trapezoid, occupying some 13,000 m2 each, which are used for parking, facilities and a supermarket. It will also have another 5 floors and an irregularly shaped roof. Each floor will cover some 6,200 m2, and this will be used as the commercial area.
ULMA Solution
The fast paced production requires a strict plan for supplies, large volumes of materials, the use of high performance systems and finishing as well as a continual anticipation of requirements from the property. Accordingly, the ULMA logistics team will coordinate the needs of the construction project along with possibilities for supplies and the availability of new products in order to provide the project with materials in predetermined timeframes.
In regards to the technical characteristics, this construction project dealt with a significant volume of novel products such as the CC4 Aluminum Formwork, which was used for laying slab formwork. ALUPROP post shores were ideal for shoring the Horizontal CC4 Formwork because of the large loads to be supported and the heights at which other post shores were not adequate. In this manner, even double heights were covered in which double bracing post shore was used, just as the system allowed. The result was a high level of finish and job performance.
Construction area access was obtained using the BRIO ladder, which totally hung from the perimetral screens.
Vertical ORMA Formwork was used in the construction of the basement wall, outer wall, machine room and the pillars.
