One of Jersey City's new communities with a European flair will welcome a host of new residents to Port Liberté.  Construction has begun on a 401-unit complex at 1 Constellation Place.  The Project is located in the Port Liberté neighborhood of Jersey City, a coastal section south of Liberty State Park and is a long five-story apartment complex centered on a seven-story parking lot. This project will include green spaces and bike paths that connect with the environment. Residents can take advantage of short commute times with convenient access to the city's extensive multi-modal transportation network and connectivity to downtown Manhattan, including a short ferry trip to Wall Street area.

ULMA Solution

On this multi-level apartment building, the customer chose different ULMA products: First is the ENKOFLEX system to support slabs and beams up to 24" in depth and 16' in height with ALUPROP towers for added stability. ENKOFLEX is a beam slab formwork system adaptable to almost any slab type and height configuration. Independent beams provide great versatility and our ALUPROP towers shoring towers can be made by joining the ALUPROP post shores and the bracing frames. The customer utilized MEGAFRAME for the taller portions of the project that reached up to 26' in height. We also used a combination of ENKOFLEX and MEGAFRAME, MEGAFRAME is a 10,000 pound per leg or (20,000 pound per frame) galvanized handset steel frame system which is appropriate for use on projects requiring high floor heights.
